Sportsperson of the Year: Honourable Mentions
The following students were given Honourable Mentions in the 2008 Sportsperson of the Year Award. These students produced standout athletic performances in 2008 that couldn’t go unrecognised (eg. Cassie Brown: Athletics Champion; Olivia Todd: Swimming Champion; Pashaiy Ayiik: CSSN Cross Country Champion). They all stood up up at least once once throughout the year to display sporting excellence. With greater consistency in performances from Term 1 through to Term 4, these students would have been eligible for the final nominee list and a chance at winning the Sportsperson of the Year Award.
